Lay out clothes outside (suggestions: shirts, shorts, socks, shoes, top of hats, sleeping bags, book bags)
I wear gloves for my own comfort. Not safe for cats while wet.
Spray clothes (Just needs to be enough to show its wet. You can really saturate items for longer coverage - but we don't need it to last through the washing after camp)
Flip and do the otherside
Let dry (Everything goes on hangers or over back of chairs. I put a line up outside if weather permits, move to the laundry room if it doesn't - just shut the cats out).
