Select a Merit Badge to work on (List of Merit Badges and requirements)
Get a Merit Badge Card from the Scoutmaster
Contact the Merit Badge Counselor
Complete the requirements
Merit Badge Counselor signs Merit Badge Card
Turn Merit Badge Card in to Scoutmaster
Receive Merit Badge (and returned Card) at Court of Honor
Keep the Merit Badge Card in a safe place as you will need it when you appear before the Eagle Board for Eagle Rank.
Notes:
Eagle required Merit Badges are highlighted in yellow.
(1) Emergency Preparedness OR Lifesaving are Eagle required.
(2) Swimming OR Hiking OR Cycling are Eagle required.
(3) Environmental Science OR Sustainability are Eagle required.
